Teaching every undergraduate
The School's mission also includes a core part of an MIT education: our faculty help all undergraduates gain a range of critical skills needed for success in every endeavor. The depth and range of cultural and historical perspectives, and the capacity for judgment, critical thinking, and lifelong creativity gained in engagement with the School's disciplines are among the hallmarks of an MIT education. Learn more about the subjects we teach in the Fields of Study and TOUR de SHASS sections.
The School also has a central role in international education at MIT, and in preparing students to be leaders and global citizens. Through MISTI, the School's pioneering applied international education program, MIT students learn how to work, lead, and thrive in cultures around the globe.
Current and previous editions of Said and Done, the School's monthly publication, can also be found on this website; each issue presents the most recent features, research, news, and events.
