Geologist and professor Kip Hodges (PhD'82) calls on his skills as a writer to ask questions, and to shape and share his research. In this video, he describes how knowledge of the humanities and arts helps shape, convey, and sustain the work of science.  


About
Kip V. Hodges is an MIT alumni, former MIT Professor, Dean for the MIT undergraduate curriculum, and recipient of several MIT awards for teaching excellence. He currently serves as the Foundation Professor of Geology and a Founding Director of the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University.
