"What's the difference between SHASS and HASS?"

SHASS is a School and HASS is a field.  SHASS stands for the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.  HASS stands for the fields of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, of which most but not all reside within the SHASS.  Some HASS fields, such as Visual Arts, Art and Design, Public Policy, and International Development, reside in other Schools within the Institute.
