J-PAL's transformative work in India
Based in the School's Department of Economics, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a transformative research effort — a worldwide network of economists who conduct randomized evaluations of programs designed to improve the lives of the global poor. This video, a preview of a 2009 documentary, shows J-PAL’s investigation of health problems in rural India, and the actions J-PAL and local NGO partners are taking to bring relief.
