Military Power and Ideological Appeals of Religious Extremists

The MIT Center for International Studies’ Security Studies Program presents “Military Power and Ideological Appeals of Religious Extremists” Wednesday, October 30 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Building E40-496. UCLA professor Luwei Ying will share the results of her research into the ideological appeals of jihadi groups how these groups navigate between religious and secular narratives in response to the fluctuations in their military power.
