The Feeling Machine: How Talking Computers Learned Emotion
MIT’s History department, in partnership with the Schwarzman College of Computing, present “The Feeling Machine: How Talking Computers Learned Emotion” on Thursday, February 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the Tang Center, Building E51-095. Northwestern University’s Ben Lindquist will discuss the emergence of emotion in computer science by tracing the history of synthetic speech.
