Dean’s Office conference rooms

The Dean’s Office has four rooms on campus available on a first-come, first-served basis. A staff or faculty member should make the reservation. Students can use the room, but the staff or faculty member is responsible for cleaning and locking up the space.

Conference rooms are not scheduled for regular course meetings. Standing reservations should first be approved by the Dean’s Office. Conference rooms are available in the evening.

How to reserve or cancel a room

To reserve one of these spaces, email Robin Palazzolo. Include the room you’d like to reserve, the date, and time of your event. Your email request must include the name of the person responsible for the room during your event. You will receive a confirmation email once your reservation has been approved and added to the calendar.

By reserving one of these rooms, you hereby agree to the following:

  • I will return the key as soon as my reservation has ended.
  • I will make sure the room is left clean and returned to the correct set up within the reservation time. I understand that the room may not be cleaned up the following morning after an evening event. If the area is not left clean and in order, the department may be assessed a charge for custodial services.
  • I will make sure that the door is locked upon leaving the space.
  • I will notify the Dean’s Office of any damage to the room. I understand that any damage I incur will be my and/or my department’s responsibility.

  • 10 people fit around a conference table and 30 fit in the room using the extra chairs and couches.
  • Furniture includes two 6 foot tables, 2 couches and coffee tables, and 4 easy chairs.
  • A/V equipment includes a projector and screen.
  • A dry board and a kitchen are included.
  • Access the room by getting the code from CMS/W staff in 14E-303.

Here are details for conference room 14N-417:

  • 10 people fit around a conference table and 14 fit in the room using the extra chairs.
  • Furniture includes five 60 inch x 24 inch tables and four additional chairs.
  • Other equipment includes a digital display and a chalkboard.
  • Access the room by getting the code from literature staff in 14N-407.

Room E51-095

Here are details for conference room E51-095:

  • 20 people fit around the table and 48 fit in the room using the extra chairs.
  • Furniture includes two 6 foot tables.
  • Other equipment includes a wall mount projector, a ceiling drop down screen, and a white board.
  • A full kitchen is attached with double wall ovens, electric cooktop stove, sink, and full-size refrigerator.
  • Access the room by getting the key from E51-255.

  • 13 people fit around the table and 30 fit in the room using the extra chairs.
  • Equipment includes a Zoom Smart Board on wheels, a chalk board, a ceiling mount projector, and a drop down screen.

Zoom Room Setup

Make sure it is plugged in, turned on and set to the correct input.

Computer

Turn on: press the power button and wait a few minutes for zoom to launch.
Turn off: press the power button and wait a few minutes for it to shutdown

Note: Computer should only be turned off when moving from one outlet to another. The default state of the setup should ALWAYS be plugged in and ON. This will make sure it is available and ready for anyone who needs it at any time on any day.

iPad

The iPad can be unplugged to run a meeting wirelessly. The default state of the setup should ALWAYS be plugged in and ON.
