MITHIC holds celebratory event for 2025 project recipients
“Your work will allow us to deepen our understanding of what it means to be human,” says MIT President Sally Kornbluth

The MIT Human Insight Collaborative (MITHIC) recently hosted a lunch with faculty and staff to celebrate the 2025 MITHIC awarded projects. MITHIC aims to elevate human-centered research and teaching, and bring together scholars in the humanities, arts, and social sciences with their colleagues across the Institute.
“Your work will allow us to deepen our understanding of what it means to be human,” MIT President Sally Kornbluth said at the event, held March 18 at the MIT Schwarzman College of Computing. “And that understanding will translate to impact, helping us solve some of the biggest problems we face as a community, as a nation, and as a planet. I’m looking forward to seeing all of these brilliant projects pay off.”
