New research finds reducing immigration does not help U.S. workers
MIT economist and department head Jonathan Gruber co-authored research that says admitting more immigrants would help save the lives of Americans, particularly seniors. “Admitting 1,000 new immigrants would lead to 142 new foreign healthcare workers, without evidence of crowd out of native health care workers,” the authors assert.
