Columbia selects University of Wisconsin chancellor as its president

MIT alumna Jennifer Mnookin PhD ‘99 was named President of Columbia University in New York City, New York. Mnookin “is known as a thoughtful consensus builder who strives for excellence in every pursuit, bringing both vision and energy to the work of institutional leadership,” the University’s Board of Trustees said in a statement.
