Foreign aid can be effective without the US
MIT economists and Nobel laureates Abhijit Banerjee and Esther Duflo, in an opinion piece for Financial Times, argue that wealthy nations must take the lead on delivering foreign aid in the wake of USAID cuts. “The world must now affirm that human lives matter, no matter where they are,” the authors say.
