David Kaiser, the Germeshausen Professor of the History of Science in MIT’s Program in Science, Technology, and Society and Professor of Physics, writing for Physics Today, chronicles his career studying physics and the history of science, and his quest to unravel quantum entanglement. “Efforts to understand quantum entanglement and to test or constrain various alternatives have enabled generations of physicists to explore the fundamental strangeness of quantum theory,” he says.
