Silent Film Accompaniment Lecture-Performance by Martin M. Marks

Musician Martin Marks will perform original and established compositions as accompaniment to two silent films: 1902’s Le voyage dans la lune and 1924’s Sherlock Jr. starring Buster Keaton. Marks will offer brief remarks to contextualize the two films and explain his approach to accompanying them.
