Charles Stewart, Kenan Sahin Distinguished Professor of Political Science, receives the Arthur C. Smith Award

Part of the MIT Awards Convocation, the Arthur C. Smith Award is given annually to recognize a faculty member for exceptional dedication and heartfelt contributions to undergraduate student life and learning at MIT. 

The award was established in 1996 to honor Dean Smith's service as the Dean for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs.

Charles Stewart is Kenan Sahin Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Department Head. His research focuses on American politics and election technologies and effectiveness.
