The Alvin Alley Dance Foundation adapts the finalé of "Revelations," one of their signature ballets in a new Vimeo performance. The ballet first performed in 1960, is one of the best-known works of the legenedary jazz-dance choreographer Alvin Ailey.

The mission of the Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation is to further Ailey's pioneering work by establishing an extended cultural community which provides dance performances, trainingm and community programs for all people. This performing arts community plays a crucial social role using the beauty and humanity of the African-American heritage and other cultures to unite people of all races, ages and backgrounds.
